This old piece black sea glass may look like a stone, but it is indeed a large piece of sea glass. Held up to the light it has an olive green hue. This color of sea glass is one of the first colors of glass made and was used to protect contents from light. We think this piece of sea glass looks like a sharks tooth, maybe it wrestled with a shark once while floating out in the sea.
As always, this sea glass necklace is fashioned with .925 sterling silver. Parts of the sterling wire have been pounded. All of our jewelry comes in a keepsake tin and lays on a bed of organic bamboo fiber.
